Four Paws Animal Hospital

Veterinary Services in Rowlett, TX

Emergency & Urgent Care

We have a veterinarian on duty 5 days a week as well as personnel who are trained and equipped to handle any urgent care your pet has. Usually, an emergency team consists of at least one veterinarian and several technicians working together to save a pet’s life. Emergencies can be things such as rat bait poisoning, being hit by a car, or chocolate ingestion. If you ever feel that your pet needs emergency treatment, do not hesitate to call or come in immediately. If possible, it is best to call before coming in so that a team member can advise you on your particular emergency.

We are also available for urgent care when the condition is not life-threatening. If you feel your pet needs to be seen before you are able to get an appointment, our veterinarian will work to “squeeze” you in between scheduled appointments. When you arrive, our front desk staff will be able to give you an estimate on how long you may have to wait in order to be seen.

Pet Boarding

When a vacation, business travel, family reunion, unexpected emergency, or other commitment arises, we are happy to be the place you entrust the care of your pets while you are away. We know that you have a variety of boarding options available for your pet while you’re gone, but we believe our veterinarian supervised kennel crew will go above and beyond in caring for your pet.

Pet Dentistry

Many of our pets suffer silently from acute/chronic oral pain and systemic infection caused by periodontal disease, tooth fractures, tooth resorption, and a variety of other dental problems.

General Veterinary Care

Regular veterinary care is an important part of keeping your pet healthy. Just like humans, animals need to see a doctor for regular checkups and preventive care. Veterinary care can help detect health problems early, before they become more serious.

Pet Grooming

Groomers assist you in maintaining the beauty, health, and welfare of your beloved pets. An external inspection, consultation with the owner, nail cutting and filing, ear cleaning, bathing, conditioning treatment, and styling are all included in a standard comprehensive grooming.

Pet Surgery

Our team is extremely competent and experienced in executing a wide range of pet procedures using cutting-edge techniques and technology while following the highest safety and care standards. In a clean and safe atmosphere, we provide surgical solutions.

Pet Ultrasound

Ultrasonography is a diagnostic procedure that creates an imaging study by using ultrasonic waves. This means that we can observe internal images of the patient’s body during ultrasonography. Ultrasonography is a painless, non-invasive method of diagnosing and evaluating a wide range of disorders.
